You Cause Me Pain

I had a dream in my heart,
I lived each day crying,
I live now as if I'm dying.
I don't bring around pushing my cart,
You may say I'm tired of trying,
but I'm just sick of playing.
I was your caretaker
I had to live with you, day and night.
But to you, I was a broken record.
You were my responsibility,
You were my task,
The day you were born,
I inherited a sense of righteousness
and belief from your mother.
I am not a mortal
but I chose to die.
I can be revived,
You can do it.
But You won't do that to me,
I know it because you are being eaten within and without,
by the ease of evil inside you now.
It's not too late, Look inside yourself
And see what you are missing.
See what you really need.

- Your dear Conscience
